“I believe that I have much to offer and am excited about utilizing my leadership abilities as Superintendent of Maricopa County Regional School District.  I consider myself to be student centered, compassionate and a team player with a focus on shared decision making within all learning communities.  I am also committed to providing a quality learning environment for all students and staff.  As Superintendent, I will maintain high expectations for teaching and learning, foster a positive school climate, promote meaningful school improvement efforts, and direct teacher and student-focused professional development efforts.”

With the assistance of the dedicated staff working in MCRSD, Mr. Rose has managed to implement a plan for growth which includes a focus on three core areas of study:

·         Life Skills

·         Transition

·         Core Academic Curriculum

Under Mr. Rose’s leadership, the District has:

·         Upgraded all computers for students and teachers

·         Installed digital whiteboards in every classroom

·         Incorporated the use of A+ computerized curriculum

·         Implemented a GED program for students in detention
